events on weekends not displayed in [eventlist] shortcode

hi guys,

my eventlist shortcode in the footer seems to skip events on weekends. nothing about that mntioned in the documentation or faqs, so how can this be fixed??

the gerneral calendar settings are set to display the weekends and the fullcalendar shortcode is also showing them correclt,y only the eventlist code is skipping them, see here (above calendar is complete, below eventlist isn’t)
