Events not tracking – Global site tag

  • Hi,

    Thank you for developing the plugin.
    I have a problem, I’m trying to add event tracking but it doesn’t seem to work. I use Global site tag.
    I checked and unchecked Universal Tracking Code, completely disabled caching, but it doesn’t work either.

    I’ve searched through these topics and tried all the solutions that were given there, but nothing solved it.

    I’ll appreciate any help

    Hi @eliz26970

    The problem is due to a timing issue.
    Our plugin, like other WordPress javascript functionality, uses the jQuery library.
    On your website, the jQuery include call is deferred, meaning that it loads later than by default. This causes our plugin to fails.

    I’m reporting it as a bug that will be addressed in a future version.
