Because unlike regular POSTS, I cannot enter an EVENT into the French or English site of the site, but I use EN and FR as categories and then display:

    [ai1ec cat_name=”FR”] or [ai1ec cat_name=”EN”]

However, I had exported the database because the domain had to be changed and I went into the SQL export file and changed the domain and then re-uploaded.

That shouldn’t affect the events, but it seems that it did.

Now it shows up on the French side with no problems, but on the English side, it’s blank. The events are there when I look in the admin and still have “EN” checked as a category.

So why do they no longer show up?

Also, the days of the week are only showing up in English?

This is all very confusing. I’d appreciate any help. Thanks very much!

OK… there was some problem in the export/import and by cloning the event, it finally shows up.

So I have only the simple question of the days of the week not showing up in French.

I found and downloaded the .mo file and it worked for translating things like “subscribe to filtered calendar” but days of the week are built into the plugin, I think, so it’s weird that they don’t show up.

    Thanks!

Well.. this is STILL an issue. Is this plugin supposed to respect language selection?

Even without the categories EN and FR, there is no recognition of whether I’m on the english or french side of the site. Is this normal or do I have something wrong with my setup?

    Anyone?

OK, I re-entered all the events again and selected category EN or FR and now it works again.
