Events not searchable from global theme search box

    Hi,

    I’m using and very much enjoying Events Manager – however, I was wondering if it’s possible for the content of events to be made searchable simply as though they were posts? I’m using Elegant Themes’ Lucid (https://elegantthemes.com/preview/Lucid/) which has a built in search box, and the only site content it’s not able to search is events, which never show up in the search results.

    Does anyone know why this might be, and if there’s any way to fix it? I’d ideally like to be able to use a global search for page, post and event content (not a separate search just for the events page) and am happy to try out a different plugin for this if needs be.

    yes, try Events > Settings > Pages > Event List/Archives > Include in WordPress Searches =Yes

    Oh my goodness, I can’t believe how simple this was. It’s always the stuff you can actually change from the dashboard I get stuck on!
