events not reported with goggle anlytics universal script

New analytics accounts are forced into using the new universal analytics script. I think this may be the reason the events for video plays is not showing up with MarcTV Video Embed plugin. I am also using Google analyticator. Does that cause an incompatibility? How can I track video plays?
