    Hello,
    I want the events to show in the blog loop, and have had that marked in the general setting Under?Events > Settings > General.

    “Include events in main blog loop – Show events with the site’s other posts. When this box is checked, events will also continue to appear on the default events page.”

    Since it didn’t – I also followed the steps on here (below) and added the snippet to the avada-functions.php – with no effect. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/order-events-in-main-blog-loop-by-post-date/ and inserted the

    The website is using the Avada wordpress theme.

    Would LOVE your help!

    Thanks;

    The sentence was poorly written above:

    Since it didn’t show I also followed the steps on here (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/order-events-in-main-blog-loop-by-post-date/?) and added the snippet provided to the?avada-functions.php?– with no effect.?

    Hi @jcnilsson

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Could I ask for the direct URL of your page where you’ve added the main blog posts? Moreover, could you also try to select “Your latest posts” option from Settings > Reading, and check if the events are showing on your home page? As always, please test it first on your staging site.

    In addition, please provide the version of the following. This will help me understand how your system is set up.

    • PHP
    • WordPress
    • The Events Calendar
    • Theme

    Let me know how it goes.
