    Hi there,

Just downloaded the free version of the plugin to try it out before getting the paid one. Am trying to import events by ID and they are certainly public events, but while I get a message saying events were imported, nothing happens and I can’t find them anywhere. I’ve tried to import as draft and as pending because I am testing, but neither’s worked so far. Any ideas?

    Thanks!

    Hello @kashka23,

Thanks for reaching out to us, sorry for the delayed reply due to a weekend.

Can you please provide Facebook Event URL which is not imported, so we can investigate the exact issue. Also can you please make sure those facebook events are accessible without login to facebook, sometimes we are not able to access event without login because of “Age restrictions”,”Country restrictions”.. etc

    Thanks,
    Xylus Themes.

Thanks for getting back to me. I am testing with this one as I assume it’s not got any restrictions: https://www.facebook.com/events/1036016063148157/

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.
