Events not firing – V 5.02 WP?

    I installed and activated the plugin per the instructions and events are not being shown when any of my forms are submitted.
    I just upgraded to v 5.02 and VersionPress is running on my site. I also have two other goals defined and active. Could any of these be the issue?

    Try changing your goal category to “Contact Form 7” and event to “Mail Sent”

    Thanks for your response. I have the goal settings set this way already. Could it be some interference from the other goals I have tied to the same event?

    I also noticed that my previously defined events (goals for forms submitted) don’t seem to be tracking in my GA either with the plugin enabled. I disable tracking in GA and deactivate the plugin in WP and my regular GA tracking of the form submit works. It also doesn’t work if I disable the GA tracking of my regular form submit event.

    Possibly…hard to say for sure without seeing your goals.

    Sounds like you might have a conflict in your goals settings. My plugin is sending the data to Google Analytics, but what happens in the goals and conversions after that is entirely up to how Google Analytics is configured.

    I’d take a closer look at your goals settings and/or have a Google Analytics expert take a look at them.
