• GA is working fine, can see myself on pages, conversions happening, etc.

Installed the plugin and can see the script line added to the site.

Contact Form 7 is default settings and working with the Thank you message and getting the emails I am testing.

When I check GA real time Events, I see nothing. Not even in the the last 30 minutes field.

I have run the contact form a couple times but still not sending events for some reason.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @bcsutoras,

Please take a look at the last FAQ item (“How do I use this with Google Tag Manager (gtm.js)?”) and ensure that your Google Tag Manager is set up as described. Without that setup, the events will be added to Google Tag Manager’s dataLayer, but won’t be sent to GA.

    Thanks

Awesome. So I followed the instructions in FAQ, not that it does require a Variable to be set as well, so I did that adding in Analytics UA code.

Now I see that Event Category is Contact Form 7, but the Event Action is undefined.

    Is that normal?

Also I have the Conversion Goal setup as per specifications but no conversion happened, even though the above Event information was tracked.

Can you send me a screenshot of your GTM setup? I’m not all that familiar with it myself and aren’t using it on any live sites right now.
