Events not firing

  • First, let me say thank you for creating and maintaining this plugin. I have a few websites on which I’ve been using this plugin with no issues for a while now.

    However, last month, something changed and it’s no longer reporting on any updated sites where it has been working (which I haven’t changed except for running updates), and on new sites I’m trying to set it up on.

    I’ve tried every combination of GA ( GST / Universal, completely disabled caching, ID events and advanced events… and still no events firing according to GA or according to the Event Tracking Tracker (chrome extension).

    Older sites that I haven’t run updates on seem to still be firing/tracking.

    Please help. I’m losing all conversion tracking!

    Hi @speedoflike

    Hope it’s not too late.
    I did see a problem that may explain why click tracking is not working well on the page you linked.

    You have an event configured for the footer-phone id, and there is something wrong with the configuration.
    Can you make sure that if the type is set to id, the element name doesn’t contain the # sign?
    The same goes for footer-email.
