Events not displaying; g-suite?

  • Hi, I have everything installed correctly I believe, the API key set up, etc. But no events are showing for my calendar at all. I am trying to pull my work Google calendar into the plugin. I inserted the calendar ID obtained from the Google calendar.

    On a whim, I decided to try to display my personal google calendar. I swapped out my work calendar ID with my personal google calendar ID; all events displayed. I switched back to my work calendar ID – blank calendar.

    –Yes, the work calendar is set to share publicly; free/busy only

    The only strange thing I can identify between the two calendars is that my work calendar ID is my email address (it’s a G-Suite account), whereas the personal calendar ID was a long, google-generated ID [email protected]. I checked my G-Suite settings for calendar and I see nothing that would be preventing this from displaying (and if I display the work calendar on my website via iframe embed code, it works fine).

  • I am finding the same issues.
    I think that the calendar needs to be completely public to work.
    I am trying with other long generated id calendar urls (but from gsuite I think) and it still does not work.

    So I suppose it is the free/busy setup where the problem is.
