Events meta box missing from editor

    I am trying to add a new event and the event meta box where the date and location is added is not displaying on my editor. I have looked through the documentation and forums and the main recommendation was to make sure the “Events Calendar” box was checked in the screen options, however there is no “Events Calendar” option in my screen options. I recently updated to version 5.16.1.1 for the plugin and am using WordPress version 5.9.3 and php version 7.4. Thanks in advance!

    Hi @emilytassoni, thanks for reaching out to us. Sorry to hear that you’re having this issue here. I suspect that the plugin was not correctly installed. Could you try re-installing the plugin and see if that makes a difference?

    Moreover, please make sure you clear any caching plugin or server-side before and after reinstalling the plugin.

    @abzlevelup I just tried uninstalling and reinstalling with cache clears but the met box and Events Calendar option in screen options are still missing. It was working fine before I made the recent update to 5.16.1.1.

    Hi @emilytassoni, this is weird; I appreciate you trying it out. Could you also provide me with the version of WordPress and PHP? I’m trying to replicate the issue here as well.

    As a workaround, please revert to the previous version of the plugin.

    Hi @emilytassoni, thanks for getting back to me here with the versions. Did reverting back to the previous version work?

    I wasn’t able to replicate the issue. It would be best if you could do the testing for conflicts on your end, there might be another plugin or your theme that is causing the issue. See the article here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/testing-for-conflicts/.

    We recommend doing the test on a Staging Server, and please do keep a working backup of your website.
