• Please reference to this google doc for the issue description with images. but copy-paste is given below.

    WordPress release:
    4.3.1

    Plugin Release:
    5.6.1

    Theme used:
    Twenty Fifteen (Default wordpress one)

    Plugins installed:
    Events Manager 5.6.1 (Activated)
    Akismet 3.1.5 (Deactivated)
    Hello Dolly 1.6 (Deactivated)

    What doesn’t work and when:
    When visiting the /events/ page we can see following content:
    [image available in google doc]

    When we try to use the Search (the field to the left) in following way:
    – focus on “Search field”
    – input “test” text to the field
    – submit form via the green button to the right

    And this is what we get:
    [image available in google doc]

    Expected result:
    When having a “test” event, the search should show the “test” event in the results
    AND
    when no matching event is found, we should land on a page with search widget and “No events found” message.

    404 is not acceptable, but is what we’re getting now

    Can you post a live link?

    Which version of Events Manager and WordPress are you using?

    Have you tried re-saving your permalinks under Settings > General?

    @caimin_nwl, please read my post, every info you asked for is given there.

    The url is local one
    I have the very same issue with live wordpress instance I cannot give the url to hence the bug report.

    Yes I did try to save them, I’ve seen the suggestion in the docs and forums. Didn’t help, and that’s why the bug has been reported.

    hmm, by local did you mean using wamp or xxamp? is the url rewrite is already enabled?

    Hi guys, thanks for your quick answers and readiness to support (I work with @jamysz).

    @gelo_nwl yes, we’re using a standard LAMP stack (not particularly WAMP or XAMPP). Rewrites are enabled and WordPress core works beautifully already for a while. The WordPress search also works.

    Some of the other extensions we have installed are:
    * AddToAny (share buttons)
    * All In One WP Security (standard settings – nothing special)
    * BackWPup
    * Post Types Order
    * W3 Total Cache (all caches enabled, except CDN). Cache has been disabled to make sure it wasn’t interfering, and the issue still occurs.

    Does this feature work for you guys on WordPress 4.3.1 + Events Manager 5.6.1 ?

    Have you tested with all other plugins deactivated and while running a default WordPress theme? It could be there’s conflict somewhere.

    @caimin_nwl: did you read my post? like, at all? ??
    I gave clear setup, this doesn’t work with vanilla wordpress package downloaded straight from wordpress site.
    All other plugins have been disabled and I already explained that.

    Quoting my first post in this thread:

    Plugins installed:
    Events Manager 5.6.1 (Activated)
    Akismet 3.1.5 (Deactivated)
    Hello Dolly 1.6 (Deactivated)
