[Events Manager] mini calendar widget: today's date not clickable

I just noticed in the mini-calendar widget, today’s date is not clickable. I may be wrong but I thought I could do it before – has it always been like this, or has it changed in a recent update?

If you are in event listing page where the events are listed in ascending order, this is not a problem as you would have today’s events at the top of the top of list. But if you just want to filter today’s events and show on the screen there is no way to do that.

So it would be great if you could make the change to enable this in an upcoming update soon.
