  • Hi,

    The should work fine alongside one another. Do you have a more specific question?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the speedy response.Yes i do have specific questions.

    1) In my country Paypal is not popular, is there a way that i can use local payment gateways that are compatible with woocommrece?
    2) How do i add my local currency and Symbol?

    two more questions;

    1) do the tickets come with a barcode if not how do i add a barcode on the ticket.
    2) after purchasing a ticket is the ticket automatically emailed to the attandee? if not, how do i trigger that?

    @mathmpofu I’ve built a few sites with both WooCommerce and Events Manager, no problems at all.

    @webaware thanks for the feedback.

    1)how do the two work? are you able to sell tickets with woocommerce?
    2)if you don’t mind me asking what was the reasons for using both plugins? and how did you do it?

    Thanks again.

    They aren’t talking to each other, they get used separately for their own purposes. I use WooCommerce for online shops, and Events Manager for the calendar of events. I’ve built quite a few sites for wineries, and some of them require both a shop and a calendar.

    Most of the sites I’ve built with both plugins don’t have ticket sales, but where they do, a couple use Events Manager Pro for ticket sales (where they need to be tied to reserved seats) and a couple use WooCommerce (where it’s just entry tickets, no reservation required, and no real integration with Events Manager). One or two even use Gravity Forms for ticket sales (great for custom forms with lots of fields, e.g. conference registration).

    The two plugins sit happily together, no conflicts. Both are easily customisable through settings, template overrides, and action/filter hooks.

    cheers,
    Ross

    @ross

    thank you so much.

    Just to add to what @webaware mentioned, making the two plugins mesh together would probably require quite a bit of custom coding.

    Additional currencies can be added to Events Manager using this code snippet in the functions.php file of your theme:

    How about question these other questions?

    1) In my country Paypal is not popular, is there a way that i can use local payment gateways that are compatible with woocommrece?) do the tickets come with a barcode if not how do i add a barcode on the ticket.
    2) after purchasing a ticket is the ticket automatically emailed to the attandee? if not, how do i trigger that?
    3) do the tickets come with a barcode if not how do i add a barcode on the ticket.

    Thanks for a great product.

    1) Payment gateways for services other than PayPal and Authorize.net can be added by creating a custom payment gateway plugin to use with Events Manager Pro.

    It might be worth searching for an existing option developed by someone else, there are quite a few additional payment gateways around for other payment processors.

    2) Booking confirmation emails can be customized via the admin interface.

    3) There’s no barcode option, by default Events Manager is a ticket-less system but it might be possible to change that with custom coding.

    Thank you for your feedback.

    I really need barcoded tickets, i’m not a techie so this might sound like a silly question, which part of event manager should my developer go to to add custom tickets?

    Thanks again.

    I’m guessing the easiest way to add tickets would be to generate the content of the ticket using Events Manager shortcodes and placeholders…

    https://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/shortcodes/

    https://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/placeholders/

    …then either send that info as part of the booking confirmed templates or send them as an attachment (PDF?) to those templates.
