• Hi all,

    I have installed Events manager plugin onto my website but I can’t work out how to enable translations. I can see .mo and .po files and I even translated the .pot file that is in the /includes/lang/events-manager.pot directory but it still doesn’t pick up.

    I had a look through the settings like 5 times, checked their forum, googled but without any luck.

    Can please somebody help me out?

    PS: I’m trying to translate the booking form: Name, Phone, E-mail, Comment and so on – I couldn’t find this as an option in the settings to translate.

    thank you

  • You have to enable wp translation by editing wp-config.php and change define('WPLANG', ''); to define ('WPLANG', 'fr_FR'); where fr_FR is your locale then Events Manager will follow

    omg, that’s so easy_ couldn’t they just write it into readme or in a codex? I already translated it in the code so…

    thanks for the advise agelonwl

    I did this – change attributes (‘WPLANG’, ”) – but many words was not translate.
    What will i have to do?

    just did what agelonwl said – edit wp-config.php and change the language to your local language – events manager will pick it up.

    This a great plugin, thank you for this.

    Same problem translation.
    wp-config.php is ok, .po and .mo are ok but some words wasn’t translated at the website.
    Exemple : in .po, Location => Emplacement
    in website, Location => Location.
