    Hi

I have now been busy on emails with Ansif and my page above really does not look like these here: https://nicheaddons.com/demos/events/elements/event-listing-2/

I see no light at the end of the tunnel and have actually lost hope that Niche Addons has any intention of communicating with me or taking any care of my complaint, or to provide me with any feedback.

I think your plugin is not compatible with something in Elementor Pro.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @nextg ,

We work on business days; you are now expecting a quick response on weekend days like Saturday and Sunday.

We already replied to your ticket after spending time and discussing with our dev team.

Please follow up there, creating a lot of duplicate tickets in different areas will lead to slower response. Also, niche.com is not our business; you opened a support ticket on their website as well. Please be patient. Our website is nicheaddons.com only.

    Hi

Your reply this morning per email:

“Please be patient, we’re working on Business days …”

“Also, we need time to check with my development team about how we can provide the best possible solution.”

“After spending time on your website and output URLs, I see you’re using the “Events Manager” plugin. That demo is prepared based on “Events Calendar

“We have multiple supported event plugins available in this list. Event Manager is one of those. Not all our Elementor widgets are supported by all plugins in this list due to the nature of those plugins. The Events Calendar plugin has more widgets, and our demo was prepared using the Events Calendar plugin.”

My question here on the in reply to the email:

“Are you still working on it or is the fact that I now have to purchase the “Events Calendar” plugin the solution? That plugin costs about 100 USD and I was nowhere informed that I have to purchase that plugin with your plugin to get it to look like your demo website. Please let me know, as I am not sure what do do and if I am waiting for you or not.

Hope to be hearing from you soon.

    Thanks.

    Hi @nextg,

Unfortunately, there is currently no solution for your request.

We replied this as a final answer:
“We have multiple supported event plugins available in this list. Event Manager is one of those. Not all our Elementor widgets are supported by all plugins in this list due to the nature of those plugins. The Events Calendar plugin has more widgets, and our demo was prepared using the Events Calendar plugin.”

Seems this product is not fit for your requirement, so if you want, we can cancel and issue the refund.

    Hi

Please give me a few days to reconsider the refund, as I have spent so many hours on this.

There is one big problem and that is that I am not at fault here. If I were at fault, then at least I could have rectified it. See the link below is for Events Listing and now you tell me that page on your website marked as “Events Listing” is for another Events Calendar Plugin (another company) which I have to pay an additional 100 USD for. How would I even know if your plugin is needed for that one at all. Why don’t you just change the heading on that page. “Events Calendar Plugin – not part of your Events Add-on subscription, but you need to purchase that separately.”

    Here is the link:

    https://nicheaddons.com/demos/events/elements/event-listing-2/

The link above was for Events Listing and NOT for Events Calendar. You sold it to me as Events Listing and now I must buy something else additional to your plugin. I took snapshots of that page and trust that you will fix it shortly to avoid any further such unnecessary, unpleasant experiences for potential clients.

Please do not close the ticket, as nothing is resolved here. You stated it was your last communication with me, but an apology from your side would be fitting, I guess.

And, does your add-on work with that Events Calendar or not? I do not know. How does it enhance that one, as I see they have their own Elementor interface.

    Thanks

    Hi @nextg,

We discussed a lot with our development team and checked our code base; all our codes are developed based on FREE versions of those supported plugins. That is why we have not mentioned anything about the PRO version needed from those supported plugins on our page itself. If needed, we must definitely mention it.

You can see this screenshot: https://prnt.sc/e-HkH1ikqYT_

Above screenshot widgets are totally from the FREE version of that Events Manager plugin. If you want to extend the functionality of the Events Manager plugin, then you should purchase separately based on your own usage requirement or the project requirement.

Our plugin only handles the available widgets’ design of those supported plugin’s events list. As I mentioned earlier, each of those supported plugins has a different set of conditions. We achieved those widgets based on their limitations. Plus, as I explained earlier, the demo website is totally built based on the Events Calendar plugin. You can clearly see all widget names and links from the following plugin page link.

    Thank you.

    Hi

Since you have told me today that the page actually works with another plugin, I started doing some more tests and voila, everything is working fine with the free version of “The Calendar plugin”. Surely you should have picked that up when logging into my website, but better late then never and nobody is perfect.

Let’s just leave all the back and forth discussions for now, unless you feel that I am completely wrong and then I will have to go through the tedious task of proving that you could improve on your responses. All of us can always improve, so let’s just leave it at that.

I am not an unhappy client at this stage, as it seems to be working like it should.

I just need to check if I can filter expired events and certain categories and then we could close this discussion perhaps soon.

    Hi @nextg,

Sorry, currently we don’t have the option to filter expired events or certain categories. We will consider including it in future updates. Thanks!
