1.) Events List –> exclude expired events from list….
    and
2.) orderby actual Event Date –> ie: not published date.

Hi thanks for the plugin !
I did read a bunch in support and the documentation.. maybe I missed something. But are the above 1.) and 2.) “easily” achieved ?

    thank again !

    Hi,

1.) You can use Meta Query to filter posts. If expired Events have any specific meta value, then you can exclude. But, you can not use dynamic value (current date) for comparing using Meta Query.

2.) Yes, use order by custom, and then set the meta_key value.

I will be Adding the feature 1 tomorrow and release an update, will let u know how to use that.

    OK !! ?? Got the
“2.) Yes, use order by custom, and then set the meta_key value.”
Figured out… it took a while because I am a bit of beginner to some of this stuff…
But finally searching in my database found… the
meta_key value for Event Start Date… is
_event_start_date which actually was the “title” also in the database except I wasn’t smart enough to include the underscore “_” .

and that ordered the Event Lists correctly.

Just to add here, I am using Twentyfourteen Theme so that Meta Value may be different for other people.

Great. Meta value differs from theme 2 theme, plugin 2 plugin, glad you have figured it out.
