Events link is broken with root relative urls

Hi, i was puzzled at first after installing the plugin because the link for the events page was giving me a blank page result. Apparently the generated link is missing a trailing slash. It was not difficult to track the correct link and set a custom link in the navigation bar but the “all events” link on the single event view (and any other automatically generated link) is broken too. Is there quick fix for this? Or you could point me to the files i need to update manually but i wouldn’t want to edit them everytime there’s a version update.
p.s. i was searching the forums before posting and as many users pointed out already, i think it would be much easier to mantain links if we could embed the calendar in a proper wordpress page-
