/events is showing nothing

    Hi,

    sorry if this question has been asked before or is stupid, but I searched the support forum and found nothing. Also I am a wp starter ??

    I installed The Events Calender version 4.5.1 and created a couple of events, but when I try to open the /events page it shows nothing – no calendar.
    The widget on the main page in the main sidebar works fine and shows a list of my events.
    I would not mind missing the big calendar, but on the frontpage widget it shows “show all events” and links to /events where nothing happens. So either i get the /events page running or I can remove this link.

  • Have you checked the slug?

    You can do it in Events > Settings > General > Slug URL.

    Also in Events > Settings > General you can check “Where’s my calendar?” link.

    Yeah I did that. Slug says: events
    That means /events should be the adress of the main calendar, right?
    And when I click “Where’s my calendar?” it does not work, it just shows a blank white page.

    I had a similar issue and change /events to /myevents –> SAVE and everything worked. Then I changed again to /events and now works fine.

    Ok, tried that now. Changed it back and forth, but still nothing. ?? Anything else you changed at the same time maybe?

    /myevents didn’t work? Wo… I have no idea.

    I had an issue with the Event template. I changed to Tribe Events and everything went wrong :S But I think is not related.

    Did you change anything in WP permalinks? Or in functions?

    No i did not change something there, at least I did it not by intention ??

    So sorry you’re having this issue!

    A couple things to try:

    Flush your site cache
    Reset permalinks

    Let me know if that helps!
