    When an event is displayed with the plugin, and I think it is when we share an event someone else created. When viewed in IE the first couple letters of the post after the title is cut off. Even happens when you go to the Smash Balloon site and put in your URL to see the demo. Maybe something weird with my Facebook feed? Anyone else getting this?

  • Hey Scot,

    This is not something we have encountered before and it sounds like it is either site specific or something with the browser. Would you be willing to provide the link to the site page where this is occurring so we can take a look at it?

    If you don’t want to post the link on this forum then just submit a support ticket on our support page here and it will remain private.

    I’ll wait to hear from you.

    Hi David,

    It is an Internet Explorer thing. Facebook ID is 111479618872375 you can see it on our site landmarksaloon.com or just put the ID in the DEMO part of the Smash Balloon page. When viewed in Internet Explorer, the first letter or two are pushed off to the right side. You can see it on the Dust and Thirst shared event.

    Hey Scot,

    It looks like this is related to how IE11 interprets the “white-space” CSS property we use. I’ve made a note to address this in the next update. In the meantime, could you add this to our plugin’s Custom CSS section (Facebook Feed > Customize > Misc > Custom CSS) and let me know whether it resolves the issue for you?

    #cff .cff-where{ white-space: normal !important; }

    Thanks for reporting the issue!

    That did the trick, thanks!
    For the record it is not just .cff-where if you remove the location from the event whatever the next line is gets cut off too, if that makes sense. But that works for me, thanks again.
