Events from users with publish_events capability are all attributed to admin

Hello, can you advise on an issue with attributing the events to the correct author please? When users do not have publish_events capability, their events are correctly attributed to them. However, everyone that does have publish_events capability has their events attributed to admin. Is there a setting I’ve missed somewhere?
