    I have updated to 5.7.0, I have the most recent WP install and hosting through WP Engine, and yet if I make changes to the date, time, cost, location, URL, etc nothing saves after the initial creation of the Event.

    I’ve been on with support and submitted two tickets through Event Calendar website with no luck.

    This is on a staging site but the live site doesn’t work as well. Not sure why it won’t save.

    Before we get started, please note, opening several tickets about the same topic only slows things down, not only for you but for everyone else. The tickets will likely get to different agents, and all of them will need to spend time investigating the same issue. This doesn’t move your issue forward faster, and it will take away time from solving other people’s issues.

    I’ve seen the issue you are describing in specific scenarios where you have
    the block editor enabled for events (Events > Settings > General tab)
    AND
    a plugin like Classic Editor or Disable Gutenberg activated to disable the block editor on the site.

    This obviously causes a conflict and event data might not be saved.
    As a first step please check if this is the case for you.

    If not, then I would recommend going through a full conflict test to find out which other plugin might be causing this behavior. Here’s a link to our conflict testing guide, in case:

    Thank you Andras, I appreciate the response.
    I understand the channels and process now.

    We are still having the same issues and I have deactivated all plugins other than Events and Events Pro. And still, after making a change to the date/time/location, etc within The Event Calendar post the same thing happens and it doesn’t stick.

    I did the same with activating the theme twenty-twenty and still no luck.
