Events cannot modified

    Good evening, I have a biiig problem with the Events calendar.
    When creating a new event, sometimes its not possible to change it. Some events can changed without problems, and today we assert, that an event, which we cannot change, another admin was able to change it.
    I hope, that I can get help here.

  • I have this problem. It is an issue with Firefox browser and only happens if there is an entry in the Location/Venue section.

    Either use a different browser (I tried Chrome and it was OK).
    or
    Remove the Location/Venue details and it should work.

    Since the last update to 6.0.6.1 I had this issue too with Safari on MacOs.

    I was able to create a new Event. Fill in all the details and publish it.
    After publishing I was no longer able to update the event.

    Now I deleted the Location and am able to update again. But I need the Location with the Event!

    Hi everyone. Sorry to hear about this. This is a known issue, and we’re now working on a fix for this one. I already added your case to the bug ticket, and we’d notify you on this thread if there are any updates.

    For now, you could downgrade to v6.0.3 or use Chrome for the Admin Dashboard.

    Hi @eefgoes, this is a known issue → Cannot update event that has a venue assigned. For now please use Chrome for accessing your admin dashboard and updating the events.

    Our developers have just released the Events Calendar version 6.0.7, which addresses the issue of events which have venues assigned not being able to be updated successfully on some browsers.

    Please update your Events Calendar plugin to include that and other improvements over your website.

    We haven’t heard from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved. Feel free to start a new thread if you have any more questions.

    Darian, sorry for not responding. I was waiting for a solution but have not seen a message about it. I still have the same problem. I just updated the plugin to version 6.0.8. With this it works as before.
