Events Calendar with ACF Pro Post Objects

Hello!

I am trying to interact with Events Calendar events through ACF Post Object fields. Post Objects collect pages and posts that match a user’s input, and it looks like I should be able to capture Events. When I filter by post type, I can even choose “Event”. However, when it comes to entering data through this field in the back end of a page, I cannot find any event listings at all when I search. Do you know what might be going on with this?
