events calendar plug in

I am using events calendar with wp 3.0. My sidebar calendar is not showing the correct day all the time. Right now it does, but last night it did not. I’m thinking maybe there’s something to do with the timezone in there, but can’t find it.

Also, the mouse over on events is not working. The date is red on days that I have events, but when you mouse over, nothing. I have to click on the date to read the event.
