Events Calendar Page doesn't get index by Google & Jetpack Plugin

    Correct me if I am wrong.

    I have observed that “Events Calendar” page which is automatically generated by this plugin doesn’t get index by Google. It also doesn’t show up in Jetpack traffic stats. All other single event pages get index and also show up in Jetpack stats but tje main Calendar Events page doesn’t.

    Is there any trick to make this possible?

  • Hey there!

    The events page is actually not a page, but an archive for a custom post type, much the same way that a Category page for posts is an archive of posts in a specific category without an assigned page in WordPress.

    That said, the page does indeed get indexed by Google. I’m honestly not sure how Jetpack’s analytics reports work, but you will certainly be able to track traffic for the calendar in a tool like Google Analytics.
