Hello, we have been using Events Calendar for several years and a new issue just popped up a couple of weeks ago. The calendar view will only show the Current Month, no past or future events. All of the plugins have been deactivated and reactivated in different order, etc. and nothing is working. I’ve provided the URL above, but it’s an intranet that requires a user login. Can I send a screenshot?

We do have a new warning message today on the Events page that says:
The Events Calendar REST API endpoints are not accessible! This may be due to a server configuration or another plugin blocking access to the REST API. Please check with your hosting provider or system administrator to ensure that the below is accessible:
    https://phxartdocent.org/wp-json/tribe/events/v1

Site is running Divi child theme
    WP 6.6.2

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @kaymoco,

Has the Calendar always been behind a protected site? You can check this KB articles to follow some steps for troubleshooting:

Let me know how this goes

Hi @sammysamp yes, the site has always been password protected. They did some recent updates and it broke the login functionality, so all the plugins had to be deactivated and reinstalled (several times) and after everything was back up and running, this issue with past/future months arose.

Thank you for the articles – above my pay grade, will have to forward to developer.

Hi @d0153 we still don’t have the solution for this, I’ve had to go to now a second developer to see if they can solve it, so if anyone here can help explain this in layman’s terms, would be appreciated.

    Hi @kaymoco

When a button is clicked on your calendar page, the system fetches events using the REST API URL:

    https://phxartdocent.org/wp-json/tribe/events/v1

If this URL is inaccessible, your calendar won’t update when you change dates, navigate to previous/next pages, or switch calendar views.

With the recent updates, it’s possible that restrictions were applied to the REST API URL, causing the issue you’re encountering. To address this, it may help to test for a plugin or theme conflict.

Please refer to our guide here: Testing for Conflicts.

Additionally, always perform such tests on a staging version of your live site to avoid disrupting your visitors. Here’s a helpful guide: Creating and Using a WordPress Staging Site.

Let me know how it goes or if you need further assistance
