Events Calendar not working on mobile

Looking at the console, there is a 403 error message related to the V2 views

If you haven’t done so, I would recommend reading the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/blog/wordpress/how-to-prepare-for-the-wordpress-update-to-jquery/

The other thing worth a shot is temporarily disabling all caching (including our very own under Events > Settings > Display) to see if that helps.

Last but not least, you can try disabling the Use updated calendar designs option under Events > Settings > Display to see if that helps.

This should allow you to pinpoint the cause of the issue.

Hey Geoff,
Thank you so much for your response, so I added the plugin jquery and it is now working on mobile.

However, I read it is a temporary fix, so do I need to do something else? I am not a coder and new to WordPress so I am limited in ability :-/

Also I tried to find the cache disabling you mentioned in Events Setting Display but I couldnt see anything mentioning cache, I think I may have turned it off the other day when I was trying to sort out the issue would that make sense why I can’t see it?

Hi @hayley74,

You’re right about this being a temporary fix.

A more permanent solution would require both your theme and the plugins on your site to be updated to work with the updated version of jQuery that now comes with WordPress. Pending when that happens, you should be fine with that jQuery helper plugin.
