events calendar not working

    I have migrated a site to a new domain hpd-ffi.org for completion before going live.
    The events are working, the locations are working
    But I am unable to get the calendar to display any events.
    The page in the url is an actual page with elementor wrappers around it.
    This page was fine on the old site.
    I am pretty sure code for the top calendar worked ok on the old site.

    Category 30 is club admin and is full of recurring event board meetings.

    I exported the EM settings from the source site and imported on the ffi site using the settings importer. Since there was no option to change the url, I am assuming the site url was pulled from the General Options table and was changed in the necessary places in the incoming EM settings.

    Any help on what to check to get the calendar working would be appreciated.

    The problem was I imported the site structure from a staging site and the actual events were exported from a live production site and imported using the wordpress export and import tools. These tools worked fine for this kind of export and import. But the incoming events were attached to event manager settings on the production site not the event manager settings on the development site. Thus the event was not tied to the settings generating the calendars. When I exported the EM settings from the production site and imported them into new staging site, the calendars both of them started working fine. [events_calendar] the simplest code worked easiest to produce the calendar with long events, and the current years events. The top calendar code was what was used on the original development page. The settings are controlling the current calendar just as well as all the short code. But short code is always an option.

    Hopefully all this dissertation will help someone else. Bring the settings from where you are bringing the actual events.
