• My website is : https://cfkenmore.com

You will notice I use “Class Times” as my Events Manager plugin name. When you click that tab, it will take you to my calendar with the dummy post and my first event post “Saturday Workout.”

Notice now that all the link names in the Nav Bar are “Class Times.” Hover over them and it will be the original URL direction, but the name is wrong.

Same thing happens if you click “Saturday Workout.” URL links are renamed.

How do I get it to keep the URL names accurate to their real title?

  • Could the WordPress Slugs be wrong?

Also question: Why are you using categories for links? >.< Seems to go away from what you have for “About” and the other links.

Does setting disable rewriting titles from Events > Settings > Events Page make a difference?

This happens with a few themes especially ones with special menu or settings that manage menus, it’s inevitable, but the feature above fixes that.

    Hi

had the same issue with level 1 page being called Events and a sub page of name “Kalender” was listed in the Events Page as a sub page list item “Events”.

Your workaround went fine. Any other impact with that workaround I should be aware of ?

    thanks

…especially, when I need to erase the title template

#_PAGETITLE

as in my theme, it is otherwise displayed TWIC!

I will click around and I see if something strikes me.

What it does is insert that bit above the page title (which will remain events). If you create a normal wp page template and assign the events page that template, you could just remove the static title
