When I activate The Event Calendar plugin, and attempt to access Appearance > Menu option in WordPress Admin Dashboard I get an error screen then received this via email from my wordpress dashboard (email info has been sensored to avoid placing my domain & file locations out there on the internet). The website itself is working perfectly - as is the event calendar - it is JUST admin dashboard that appears to be broken by this issue, however, I have noticed that website lags significantly when plugin is enabled also.

    G'day!

Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, The Events Calendar.

First, visit your website (***WEBSITE ADDRESS**) and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught (https://**SITEDOMAIN**/wp-admin/nav-menus.php) and check for any visible issues.

Please contact your host for assistance with investigating this issue further.

If your site appears broken and you can't access your dashboard normally, WordPress now has a special "recovery mode". This lets you safely login to your dashboard and investigate further.

    ***RECOVERY TOKEN***

To keep your site safe, this link will expire in 1 day. Don't worry about that, though: a new link will be emailed to you if the error occurs again after it expires.

When seeking help with this issue, you may be asked for some of the following information:

    WordPress version 6.2

    Active theme: Listable (version 1.15.6)

Current plugin: The Events Calendar (version 6.0.12) PHP version 8.1.17

    Hi @catbreeders,

Thank you for reaching out to our team!

I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing an error on your site. It’s possible that reverting your PHP version to 8.0 could resolve the issue. However, if that doesn’t work, I would recommend running a conflict test on your site.

Additionally, it would be helpful if you could share your system info with us, so we can better understand the issue and provide a solution.

    Kind regards,
    Jean
