The date picker in the search bar is popping up underneath the navigation menu bar. Can I add some custom CSS to change the z-index setting of the pop-up and if so what do I need to add?

    Thank you!

  • Hello @jupiter1955,
    Thanks for reaching out,

Inspecting the code in your events page, I see that you have some custom CSS. There is one specific line hiding the “Find Events” button (.tribe-bar-submit {display:none}). Is it intended?

Also, the event-content has no top margin and is messing with the bar.
Therere is some extra padding on some elements.

Could you try taking the custom CSS away and starting from the beginning?

Let me know how it goes

    Hi @sjaure

I have checked my Custom CSS (Appearance > Custom CSS) and the code you have suggested is not there. I would not have edited any other code so I’m confused!

    Thanks

    @sjaure

This is no longer an issue. The only reason I was using the “old” Events Calendar layouts is because the new layouts had problems. Those problems appear to have been resolved with the release of v5.0.1 in the last 24 hours so I can now revert to the “new” layouts.

    Thank you

    Hey @jupiter1955 ,
I’m happy to hear it works now!

I will go ahead and mark this thread as resolved

Please reach out if anything comes up

    Cheers
    Santiago
