Events Calendar Automatically Updating

    We’ve built a custom tool using the old version of Events Calendar. Given the significant changes to how 2.0 works we’ve decided to no longer update the plugin and continue to use the deprecated version.

    Events Calendar is automatically updating (seemingly every month), which breaks our sites layout and links. We’ve already chosen to not update the plugin automatically in WordPress, is there something else we can do in order to stop this from happening?

    Thank you for reaching out.
    We totally understand and yes, there is something you can do.

    With that in mind, as WordPress versions continue to update, it is likely that the older version of our plugin will stop working at some point. Fair warning.
