I am having an issue that just started happening. I’ve been using redirection since I built this site as well as the events calendar. Last week, when we entered an event in a series on the first incidence of event the link does not work to display the full event information.

It is only the first incidence. The remaining links work. We’ve tried it on other events. We disabled all our plugins and it only happens when this plugin is enabled.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

What version of Redirection and Events Calendar are you using?

Does it happen if you disable the monitoring option in Redirection’s settings page?

Redirection Version 2.7.1 & Events Calendar Pro Version 4.4.15

I tried disabling it and it still happens.

You say it doesn’t work – how doesn’t it work? Is there an error? What is supposed to happen that Redirection is stopping?

When you go to the Sept 8th Event and you click on the title or find out more it goes nowhere.

If you click on the header or find more on the 9th or 10th it works as designed showing the full description of the event.

There is no error it just doesn’t go anywhere.

Clicking on the first event on that URL returns a HTTP/1.1 406 Not Acceptable response with the message Generally a 406 error is caused because a request has been blocked by Mod Security. If you believe that your request has been blocked by mistake please contact the web site owner

I don’t think this is related to Redirection, and you should check if your server is blocking the request.

I don’t see that error but it only happens on the first instance of the reoccurring event. If you click on the 9th or 10th they work. If it was mod security wouldn’t it happen to all events. If I disable redirection I can view the event properly.

I get the same response for the 9th and 10th too.

I don’t know why disabling Redirection changes this.

Apparently there was a redirection entry that was causing the problem. We removed the entry and it appears to be working.
