• Hi there,

i’m using latets version of CoBlocks and WordPress. I used the Events-Block and linked it with an ical-calendar, which works fine. All data is shown, so this is not the problem, but i’m from germany i want my local Language/Localization and Datetime Formats, but the Block has no options to change this.

So for example the block displays “January” instead of “Januar” (German Notation) or 12:00pm instead of the 24 hours representation or 12:00 Uhr (German Notation).

Is there a way where i can change these tings by my own? Maybe directly in the plugin, but there i have to pay attention on plugin update.

The WordPress Installation has set the correct Localization and Datetime Formats, the iCal-Calendar, too – so this is not the problem i think.

    Hope someone could help me.

Hi @opa114, I hope you are doing great,

While achieving compatibility with different calendar technologies may be challenging, checking the code of the page may reveal useful information.

Is there any way you could send a link to the page where the calendar displaying the wrong notation is located?

Additionally, were you able to replicate the same behavior with other plugins temporarily disabled or with a different theme? If you want to check that, please create a backup just to be safe.

    Cheers!

    Hi @gdandrija,

thanks for reply. I will make a public site with the calendar and the decribed behaviour, so that you can see and maybe reproduce it. But can only do it at the end of the week and share the link, as I am currently on a business trip.

I tried many other themes, same thing. Other plugins i did not test at the moment. i had one in the last years called Events-Manager, this plugin shows the correct Language/Localization. That’s why i think this could be a plugin “problem”.
