The plugin looks like is working right, but, when I check the calendar, none of the saved and published events is displayed. It is possible to create, modify, save or publish events at the backend, but these events are never displayed in the frontend pages. Also, when I load an event’s page I get a 404 error (https://interciencias.ugr.es/evento/test/). It looks like the frontend engine cannot get the data.

I checked the possible conflicts and followed every single help page and anything solved my problem, any idea?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @interciencias

Does increasing your site’s WP Memory limit helps? If you haven’t tried it yet, could you try increasing it and see if that makes a difference?

If that doesn’t help, on your staging site, please enable debugging, and try rerunning the migration (run?this snippet?before migration). After that, check debug.log file to see if errors are encountered during the time you run the migration.

    Looking forward to your reply.

Hi @d0153, we are one step closer!

Increasing WP Memory limit has worked, even the loading times of the full website are faster!!

About the upgrades page, it finally loaded and showed a window about loading a preview. Your support article had a code snippet for skipping this preview. I loaded an enabled it, but it did not seem to work (I enabled it globally, not for to be run once, could it be relevant?), so I started loading the preview.

Now the loading preview window is the one that never ends. According to the text I suppose the process could be long, but I have been waiting almost 20 minutes before writing this reply and the screen does not change. Check this screenshot.

Thank you again for the support, I will be waiting for the next reply!

Please ensure that you deactivated the snippet before running the preview.

If you’re still stuck on the preview, please try doing the following once again:

    1. Update to the latest versions of The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro.
    2. Remove any un-needed draft events and empty the Trash.
    3. Install and activate the Code Snippets plugin.
    4. Add?this snippet?and run it once (be sure it does not stay activated).
    5. Turn off the server-caching temporarily while running the migration.
    6. Activate a default theme like WP’s 2020 theme
    7. Go to Events > Settings > Upgrades and go through the migration process again.

As always, please test this first on a staging site.

Let me know how it goes.

    Hi again @d0153,

Please ensure that you deactivated the snippet before running the preview.

I run and deactivated the snippet before checking again Events > Settings > Upgrades, but nothing seems to happen.

So I repeated those steps. I updated the events calendar, you released a new version a few days ago. I activated 2020 theme, disabled WP_CACHE and run the snippet, and it looks like loading times increased (probably because I turn off the server-caching) but the preview keeps as stuck as last time ??

Thank you again for the support, I will be looking forward to your next reply.

    Hi @interciencias

Thanks for your message, and I apologize that you’re still having this issue.

Could you downgrade The Events Calendar to 6.0.13.1 for now, enable the debugging, re-do the migration from your staging site once again, and see if that makes a difference?

Again, only activate our plugins and use a basic theme (2020 theme) while doing the migration. And please test it first on your staging site before applying to your live site.

If the issue persists, please check if there are errors recorded on the debug.log file.

    Looking forward to your response.

Hi @d0153, sorry about the delay this time, I have been so busy finishing my master degree.

I downgrade the plugin version as you suggested, but now the upgrades screen goes back to the previous stage: it never ends loading.

By visiting this link you can check the debug.log file. Honestly, it has more errors than I expected, but I don’t really know if they are related to this issue.

Looking forward for your reply and thank you so much for your help.

    Hi @interciencias

Could you add this snippet again, activate it, and check if the migration works without going to the preview?

If that doesn’t help, please provide a screenshot of how you added the snippet code and what you see on the migration page.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Hi @interciencias

If the above still doesn’t help, please try re-installing The Events Calendar plugin, and see if that makes a difference.

Please attempt to run the migration again and verify the corresponding values in your system information.

Hi @d0153, sorry about the delay… I’ve been on holiday these days, but I will come back soon to work. Nevertheless, I am taking your last advices, give me a moment ??

    Thread Starter interciencias

    (@interciencias)

Hi @d0153, I followed the first of your advices but it did not work. In fact, according to the website you send to me, after activating the code snippet, the upgrades page should ask me to skip the preview, but it shows nothing. It keeps loading non stop: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nPV-_bvrL4Tr78nxTxFaa4vM5CbfyKOF/view?usp=sharing

I also provide a screenshot of the snippet: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1YKfCQAX1qCoM_2ptA5VkAcuaoSq-_GU5/view?usp=drive_link

Once again, sorry about this time delay and thank you for your dedication!

    Hi @interciencias

    Thanks for patiently waiting.

Could you try adding the following snippet code, and try rerunning the migration and see if it helps:

    add_filter( 'tribe_supports_async_process', '__return_true' );

As always,?please test this first on a staging site.

If the previous suggestion did not resolve the issue, would you kindly share the most recent version of your debug.log with us? This would allow us to conduct a more thorough investigation of the problem.
