I notice that the date and time of events works quite well on most of the pages.
I defined the output of the eventlist with placeholder tags

%start{d.m.Y}{}%, %start{H:i}{}% - %end{H:i}{}% Uhr: %event_title%

this works well on the homepage and other pages, see here: https://www.stricktiger.de

but on archive pages the placeholders are empty, the rule “current + future” is ignored, past events are listed as well (without date and time)

I assume that the placeholder-names / variable-names “start” and “end” are just too common and get emptied or overwritten easily

what can I do?

no answer??? what kind of support is this?

This is a support forum, which means other users are the support. If you don’t get an answer it means no other users who frequent this forum know the answer. I don’t believe that all plungin developers must monitor this page.
You could try going to the plugin website and asking for support there.
I think it was event organizer which I scrapped because I couldn’t get suppport.

You could also upgrade to paid support, which is better but still not great. https://en.support.wordpress.com/help-support-options/

the reason for “my” problem was that the output of the plugin in a category-archive-page was handled outside the loop and by that ignored…
