event_list shortcode limit not working

Hi,

I’m using this code in my theme to print my events:
<?php echo do_shortcode(‘[events_list scope=”month” limit=”8″]’); ?>

Unfortunately the limit option doesn’t work.
Any ideas how to get this working because there are too many options in my list.
I don’t wanna change the global event list amount, because on the event page I want more than 8 events.
