    Hello,

If I enter a recurring event multiple events are published automatically and the are all shown in the events list. But I need only one event in the events list but when I enter the single event multiple starting dates to be shown and the event to be published in the calendar to all of the strating dates.
Example: I have a tourist event which starts ot 1-st, 21-st and 30-th of August. Now I need to create 3 different events and one and the same event will be shown 3 times in the events list.

Is it possible to put 3 different dates for one and the same event. This way the event will be shown in the calendar for all the strating dates but it will be shown only once in the events list?

    Thank you in advance!

  • Hi Kara,

I’m not 100% certain what you want to do. You want to show only the first (next) recurring event in a series?

    Thanks.

    No,
I want to create only one event with 3 future start dates.
And instead of creating 3 different events with different start dates or creating recurring event which also generates 3 different event, I want to have the ability to add 3 different dates to one single event.
This will prevent of showing 3 future events in the events list.

    Thank you in advance!

For this I would advise a workaround rather than trying to make a PHP solution. The solution is relatively easy:

    1. Make a ‘master’ event which is not recurring.
    2. Make your recurring set of events, and in the description use a shortcode like [event event_id=”x”]#_BOOKINGFORM[/event]
