Event view widget not starting at current date

  • Hi:

    My current event list is starting at a past date. I have recurring events starting in that past date, but for us it is relevant to start with the current date.

    I found similar posts, recommending to change the date through Events > Settings > Event view tab and did this to no avail either leaving it blank or setting it for today.

    Help please.
