  • I’m having the same problem. I haven’t been able to track affiliate links for weeks. I was told the issue was a period in my redirect and that the latest version would fix it. Unfortunately it didn’t. Is there a fix in the works?

Hey guys, I had the same problem, but is fixed now.
In my case, what happened is that I use a special function to minify the html. I have found that the last update of the plugin put some comments (// double slash comments) into the tracking code. Thus, as my html output in written in one single line, the comments were affecting the real code. I have just removed the comments and the tracking code is working again.
The comments are located into the file wp-content/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/includes/frontend/tracking/class-tracking-analytics.php, in the function monsterinsights_get_ua().
I hope this could help you as well.

I am having the same problem. I switched to the new tracking script and re-authenticated, hoping that would fix it, but no joy. It’s been broken for weeks. I do see one click registered a few days ago (why that one?), with the full link information, but nothing else. I know there were more because I can see them in my affiliate report.

The folks at Monster Insights told me the issue was that I use a period in my redirect, as in /go.php?. They told me that the latest update would fix this bug. It didn’t. I’ve emailed the several times since then, but received no reply. Haven’t seen in replies to this issue here in the forums either. Does anybody know of another plugin that can track outbound clicks via Analytics?
