Event to Calendar, 24 hr Time and Excerpts

  • Two questions:

    My events are posting in 24 hour time format and I don’t know how to change that.

    Also, I just posted an event but it doesn’t show up on the calendar view…neither the calendar view on the dashboard or the calendar on the website. However, I created another event and it does show up. Not sure why one and not the other. The event does show up on the events main navigation link.

    Finally, I have selected to add an events link to the main navigation menu. However, it displays the entire event and not just photo an excerpt. Is there a way to narrow each event down to a picture and excerpt on the events main navigation menu link?

    sorry, I guess that was 3 questions.

    Update: I found the missing post. It’s posting on the wrong date in the wrong month. However, when looking at the event post itself, the dates are correct. So why would they show up on the wrong date on the calendar?

    Hi Luke,

    Can I ask you to use a separate thread for each question, that way others with similar questions can easily find what they’re looking for.

    Regarding the 24 hour time-format, when you post a new thread, could you specify where. Most places use the option in Settings > General.

    (If you can link to your site too, that’ll help with debugging!)
