Event titles in WordPress – same for all events

    This is only relevent to WordPress back end.

    All of the events have the same title when you first log into WordPress.

    When you refresh the page, all of the events have their own titles. The other columns have the correct details (author, event categories, tags, start date, end date).

    I have created a stage site. I have disabled other plugins. Also changed theme. I still have the issue. Any ideas?

  • I’m also seeing this in the WP backend. The titles are all wrong on load — other details are accurate. When you refresh the page, the titles revert back to the correct details.

    I can confirm this as it is happening on my website as well. Using Version 5.11.0. Difference is my titles do not revert back…

    Hi all!

    Thanks for taking the time to report and confirm this.

    Unfortunately, we can also confirm this is a legit problem when using an Object Cache system like Redis or LiteSpeed.

    We have already logged an internal bug report and we’ll let you know as soon as we ship a fix for it.

    In the meantime, the only workaround we’ve found is disabling the object cache in place or downgrading The Events Calendar to version 5.10.1

    Hi Victor,

    Appreciate the response and to the others for the confirmations and link to an existing thread. Great to know its on the radar, in our case the hosting is a WP specialist and they have caching built in but we can consider whether to downgrade for the time being.
