Event title in the widget not displaying in the event page

Really need to see the site to offer any suggestions.

Do the titles display properly on a page with the event list or a calendar?

I can’t replicate the problem on my test site which means you have got something set on yours which blocks the event title in the widget. I can see the line in the plugin code but don’t know why it isn’t working on your site.

I have already the same problemes with the event titles.
If I use the shortcode [qem] in the right sidebar widget (with the plugin “Enhanced Text Widget” or “Enable Shortcode and PHP in Text widget”) the event title in the sidebar is missing only on the event site (https://www.site.com/event/nameoftheevent). On all other sites it is working fine.

What happens if you use the QEM Widget not the shortcode?

There is a lot of filtering in the widget to make sure the event list works properly in the sidebar. Using a shortcode may cause problems.

With the “Quick Event List” widget it works fine but I use [qem] in the widget and not the “Quick Event List” widget because I want to link the titel of the “Event List” to a special page. I didn’t find an option in the “Quick Event List” to do this.
Is it possible? or can you add this feature?

Sorry for not replying earlier. The widget list has a whole different set of filters to the [qem] event list. This is probably why it’s not working for you. To fix this I really need to see the site and work out how to fix this.

I’m not sure. This sort of functionality is quite complicated.
