Event Tickets Plus: Undefined Variable Quantity

    Hi,

    Before you say anything – I know that these forums are for the main plugin only, and I should be using the TEC forums. I’m on a nonprofit license, and not looking for major support.

    I just wanted to know if you ever issued a fix for: Notice: Undefined variable: quantity in wp-content/plugins/event-tickets-plus/src/Tribe/Commerce/WooCommerce/Main.php
    . Support wrote in February that a ticket is pending fixed, but I’m still having the issue in the latest version, and thats despite the thread being closed.

    (The fix itself was easy – I just added $quantity = 0; to the top of the function generate_tickets() on line 565. Theres a good change that might have broken other things, but Im not currently seeing any issues… though it is annoying to be reapplying the fix after each update).

    PS Have you ever considered creating a bug-report form for us Nonprofit users to make you aware of plugin issues? (Mind you, not to receive support, just to bring things to your attention).
    Or alternatively, adding a +1 / ‘Me Too’! button to allow those of us without posting access to help make you aware when an issue is wide-spread?

    To answer your question, this specific ticket is still pending fix.
    As you can see in the thread for some reason, the issue seems intermittent and dependent on specific payment gateways. Speaking of which are you using the same payment gateway as this other user ?

    Thanks for the reply Geoff!

    It happens both with the built-in Paypal and both WooThemes and Angelleye’s Paypal plugins in a normal flow, and with all other built-in gateways if you programmatically wc_create_order on a non-ticket.

    Keep up the amazing work – your plugin has had a huge impact on our local community, and if there’s ever a way for us to contribute back (in addition to proudly displaying the ModernTribe logo on our site), I’m sure Im not the only volunteer coder who’d love to help out!
