    Hi Margaret,

    Thanks for your post. Are you referring to the Upcoming Events widget?

    Events that have occurred should be removed from a list of Upcoming Events, since they are no longer upcoming. So it sounds like that is working as it should- but that’s not something that we changed in 3.8.

    Best,
    Leah

    I’m noting the same issue. An event for today, with a time of 1PM – 4PM, is still showing as an Event at the bottom of my home page… and also as the top entry in the Calendar view. It’s almost 9PM now, so it’s way past the event.

    Ideally, I’d like to see kill or drop-off field associated with each Event (like Revolution Slider which has an option to set both Start and End of each slide). In this case, a Fall Festival, the event was no longer relevant after 3PM, so I would have marked it to drop at 3PM, if there were a way to do that.

    Is there such a capability in the Pro version? Or is there a way to do this with the free version included with my theme (Forgiven)?

    Hi Leah, (and thanks Karl for jumping on);

    Leah, I don’t think I am talking about a widget. https://www.tdi3.org/events shows all upcoming events. Since the 3.8 update, events seem to be dropping off that list based on the date. Prior to the update, they dropped from the list based on the date AND the time.

    As Karl and I both experienced, an event on 10/22 at 10AM will not disappear from the Upcoming Events list (at /events) until 10/22 has passed. Prior to 3.8, that same event would have disappeared at 10:01AM.

    I actually have an event scheduled for 10/22 at 10AM – coincidentally on a Wednesday, so you may be able to see it if you go to the site after 10AM.

    Thanks.
    Margaret
