Event search and Calendar tooltip.

  • This is the only calendar I found that works great with WPML plugin. However what it lacks is a search/filtering capability and having a popup for the calendar as you hover over the events on the calendar. Then it would be PERFECT!

    Is this possible to do with some custom code?
    Please let me know.

    The popup effect should be simple to do with some Javascript, at least if the content of it will be the event date / title. Just look around for a nice, configurable script.

    When it comes to filtering – how would you like it to work/look like?

    As for the popup, it would be super handy to have options to enable/disable info such as:

    Title
    Date
    Time
    Excerpt
    thumbnail
    or any other custom field.

    And more importantly, A good Search/filtering function is something that almost all calendar plugins lack.

    An ideal event search would have the following features in my opinion:

    A text field for keywords
    Category filtering/Checkboxes
    Location/region
    Date range (2 date pickers like that of airline ticket searches)

    Please let me know if it’s something that can be done. This is a client project I’m working on and I need those functions.
    I would also be interested in a custom development service for this at a reasonable cost.
