Event Schema

Hi, i have a news website. The only post type i have is post, no custom post type. Generally i use news schema to all website post.

Only for certain posts, that are related to events (i don’t use any event plugin, there are just posts that speak about events), i need to implement event schema, instead of generic news schema. I’ve created and implemented it without problem, but there’s a way to cut yoast news schema for certain posts, and use my script istead? Or should i leave as it is because the two schemas can work togheter?
