Event Scheduler / Calendar

  • I’m looking for a very simple Event Scheduler plugin. I’m developing a site for a guy who’s a DJ for parties. There is only one “provider” and one “service,” and I want it to be very simple, clean, and responsive.

    I need people to be able to see a calendar, click on a date, and book an event. That’s it. If payment, cancellation, etc., are added benefits then that’s fine too.

    I’m trying to find a good one out of the box so I don’t have to tweak the shortcodes, etc., too much. I’d think that someone would have created a very simple and stripped down scheduler like this, but I’m only finding very detailed and complicated schedulers.

  • This is not really a development question. A simple Google or browse over at codecanyon.net will give you what you need.

    I’ve viewed, downloaded, activated, tested, oodles of Plugins from CodeCanyon/Envato/ThemeForest. Their descriptions, screen shots, etc., are only slightly helpful.

    I thought we might have someone on here who’s used a Plugin with similar functionality to what I’m describing.

    Is there are a better forum spot on WordPress to inquire?

    I moved your topic to “Everything else WordPress”. The Developing forum is largely inhabited by those who tend to code their own solutions and avoid using plugins. Hopefully your topic will be seen by more of those familiar with various plugins in its new location. Good luck!
